[underlined] INTENTION. [/underlined]
1.No. 214. Squadron are to move from Feltwell to Stradishall between 12/2/40 and 15/2/40 by Road and Air. For Advance, Air, Main and Rear parties, see appendices A.B.C and D. The Advance party (see appendix A) in command of W/O Hughes and 22 airmen will leave ‘Glebe House’ at 0930 hours on 10/2/40. They will proceed by road and report to Station Headquarters, Stradishall on arrival.
2. The Air Party (see Appendix ‘B’) under Command of Squadron Leader W.P.J. Thompson will take off at 1100 hours on 12/2/40 and proceed independently. F/Lt. Gilbert will be responsible for obtaining Met. fore-cast by 0930 hours on 12/2/40. All Captains to ensure W/T. working satisfactorily. Captains to to [sic] obtain from Squadron Adjutant the letter of the day and necessary cartridges. On arrival of the air party at Stradishall, Officer Commanding Formation will report to Station Duty Pilot.
3. The Main Party (see appendix ‘C’) will proceed by Road Transport under Command of F/Lt. Rivett-Carnac at 1000 hours on 13/2/40. Officer Commanding convoy will be responsible that a speed of 20. m.p.h. is not exceeded. He will report to Station Duty Officer on arrival at Stradishall. Flt/Sgt. Hales will be responsible that each airman of the Main Party carries the unexpired portion of the days rations. Officer Commanding convoy will halt the convoy each hour and inspect vehicles. He will ensure that halts do not obstruct normal traffic. Route:- Brandon - Newmarket - Stradishall.
4. The following transport will report as follows to ‘Glebe House’ :- Articulated Trailer. 0900 hours 10th. Feb-ruary 1940. for Heavy Stores. 6. 3 ton lorries from Group - afternoon of 12th. February 1940. These will be loaded up and two petrol trailers leaving at 10.00 hours. 13th. February. 4 Tractors will leave 0700 hours on 12th. February.

2. Buses. 32. Seaters will report. ‘Glebe House’ at 10.00 hours.
5. Rear Party, (see Appendix ‘D’)
The Rear Party will proceed under the Command of F/O Irving when duty completed by Road Transport. He will request Officer Commanding, Feltwell to arrange Transport . On arrival at Stradishall he will report to Officer Commanding. No. 214. Squadron.

All Section Commanders will be responsible for the packing up of their Sections by Noon on 12/2/40. Cor-poral Taylor will supervise the load up of the Transport of the Main Party.
All Personnel living out will be responsible for taking their Ration Cards to Stradishall.

Officer Commanding No. 214. Squadron will arrange Nominal Rolls and Ration Strength to be forwarded to Officer Commanding Stradishall on 9/2/40.
