[black and white headshot photograph of Sergeant Kenneth Reginald Adams]

SERGT. Kenneth Reginald Adams, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Reg. W. Adams, of 8 Cemetery-road, Blackfords, who is serving in the R.A.F., gained his promotion very quickly.

He is eighteen years of age and he joined the air force on March 14. Four months later on July 14 he was promoted sergeant. He was formerly a member of the local A.T.C., and the knowledge he accumulated greatly helped him when he enlisted in the R.A.F. Before joining up he was employed by the Walsall and District Co-operative Society at Cannock.
