Dear Sir
A few weeks ago you were good enough to send us a list of my sons, P/O A. Barralet, personal effects. I now have received a card from him which I enclose herewith, authorising me to take over these articles and I shall be much obliged if you can arrange for them to be forwarded to this address. I should mention that in examining the list enclosed with your letter of June 11th I have noticed that a bag of golf clubs that I am quite sure my son had with him at Linton is missing, I wonder if it is possible to trace these as I know he will be looking forward to using them again when the war is over.
Yours faithfully
