Personal account of Georges Boudrot (JoJo) who was one of the first to help my escape in March 1943

The account describes his feelings, experiences and conditions during occupation by Germans in 1942. Georges mentions the resistance being joined by some but that others were just content to sit back. He describes resistance in Chatillon-sur-Seine region, including participants and organisations. He continues describing actions carried out in 1942 and mentions members captured and interrogated. He then talks about his activities in resistance, including in Turpin escape-line, as well as actions of people helping escape to Spain. Georges goes on to describe helping Flt Lt Norman Mackie who had been shot down on an operation to Stuttgart and talks of the journey with Mackie to Dijon, where he found out the line to Spain was no longer operable. He goes on to mention other resistance activities and people involved in 1943 . Georges discusses disagreement, supply drops, arms explosives and camps as well as other adventures.
