Includes second part of letter March 1941, card 22 March 1941, letter 14 April 1941 and start of card 30 April 1941.

Second part of letter March 1941 intends to send her photo of covert party. Asks her to send cigarettes and tobacco. Speculates on plans for future bungalow.
Card 22 March 1941 to Harry and Evelyn. Thanks them both and gives feedback on their letters to him. Hopes they liked photo he sent. Banter at end.
Letter 14 April 1941 to Jess. Mentions they have rigged up a football field and started a league and played matches. Now received 38 letters and 16 photographs, but still waiting for parcel. Compliments her photos, and wishes happy birthday. Comments on son growing and other family gossip. End with encouraging comments.
Start of card 30 April to family. No sign of parcel but had received her latest letter and news.
